Brazil: behold 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup Winners

Brazil 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup Final Result: Brazil 3-0 Spain (Fred Brace, Neymar). Third Place Result: Italy 2-2 Uruguay (Astori, Di Amanti, Cavani Brace), Italy won 3-2 on penalties.
The samba boys of Brazil were victorious last night as the emerged as winners of this year’s FIFA Confederations Cup, winning it now for the past Three (3) editions in a row (2005, 2009, 2013). First half goals from Fred and Neymar put the Samba boys two (2) goals ahead before Fred added his second and Brazil’s third to clinch the title for his team irrespective of the fact that Sergio Ramos missed a penalty kick in the first half of the game. I say congratulations to Brazil. Hope to see more of them at next year’s World Cup also wishing the La Furia Roja of Spain best of luck looking forward to how they will be able to defend their World cup after Confederations Cup seeming disappointment.
Earlier on Italy defeated Uruguay 3-2 on penalties to finish third in the tournament after extra and regulation time scores stands at 2-2,
Winner: Brazil
Runners Up: Spain
Third Place: Italy
